About | Boxy Pixel
Designed with Purpose. Machined to Last.
Premium machined-aluminum parts for people who care about how things are built — and how they feel.
Boxy Pixel began the same way many modern ideas do: with curiosity, a problem to solve, and a late night on Reddit.
Our founder, Nick, is an engineer at heart. What started as machining aluminum retro gaming parts for personal enjoyment quickly turned into something more. After sharing his work with the retro gaming community, it became clear there was a real demand for parts that felt as good as the games themselves—solid, precise, and thoughtfully designed. Boxy Pixel was founded in 2019 to meet that demand.
In the early days, everything came out of a small garage workshop. The goal was simple but uncompromising: create premium metal parts that respect the original design while improving how they feel, fit, and function. No gimmicks. No shortcuts.
Today, Boxy Pixel is known for pioneering premium machined-aluminum gaming parts. Every product is refined through iteration—improving tolerances, ergonomics, assembly, and usability—so the final result feels intentional, durable, and unmistakably premium.
Equally important is how we treat our customers. We believe trust is built through transparency, honest communication, and standing behind what we make. From the first question to long after your order arrives, we aim to be responsive, straightforward, and genuinely helpful.
Boxy Pixel exists for people who care about the details. We’re here to enhance the gear you love—and to be the kind of company you’re glad you supported along the way.
