Many of our parts are custom and have 'handmade processes'. If you receive your parts and are dissatisfied, we will refund your money upon return of the product, minus any shipping charges. This return policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping postage.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
If you have a custom unit built by Boxy Pixel, and if anything goes wrong within 60 days, please contact us for the return shipping address. Your device will be fixed and returned to you. This is free for the 60 days after purchase. After 60 days, we charge for time and parts to repair any electronics, screens, or related components that fail. Failures of machined parts (mechanical issues, not cosmetic) are covered 100%.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow 4-5 business days to inspect the test and process a refund. Refunds will be charged a 3% fee for all refunds made with a credit card and 3.9% for payments made with PayPal. This is a merchant fee we must pay.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take 5-7 days before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We typically only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Be sure to review the product description for any special requirements. (Example: LCD kits require testing prior to assembly). If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email using the contact form for a return address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you have a lost package, see this page for some helpful information. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. It is the sender's responsibility that the product is delivered.
Shipping insurance is provided by a third party-- if your package is lost or delayed, please contact this company directly.
Please ensure the shipping address you have provided is accurate; there is little we can do once the package has begun transit.
For international shipping, we suggest international shipping insurance, and customers are responsible for shipping returns.
