Bluetooth Pairing - Fat Boxy Pixel iPod

📶 Bluetooth Pairing (KCX_BT_Emitter)

Pairing a New Device:

1. Power on the bluetooth board using the switch on the top of the ipod

2. The module enters pairing mode automatically (LED flashes quickly).

3. On your headphones/speaker, enter pairing mode.

4. Once paired, LED blinks slowly or stays solid.

5. It will remember this connection and automatically reconnect to the same device on subsequent power-ups

Pairing a Second Device

1. Turn off the previously connected Bluetooth receiver.

2. Turn on the new Bluetooth receiver you want to connect to.

3. Press the rear button on the KCX_BT_Emitter module for 1/2-1 second to clear the previous connection memory and start a new search. It can be fickle as you need to press and hold just long enough.

4. The module will now connect to the new receiver and remember it for the future. 

Troubleshooting Bluetooth:

  • Keep devices close (3–5 ft) while pairing.

  • If connection fails, power everything off and retry.

  • Try turning off all nearby Bluetooth devices
  • If it does not pair, it may not be compatible unfortunately.  I am creating a list of devices that myself or other have verifiedÂ
